πΉThe Reward of an Ill, a sick, a mareedh before the Merciful Allah.
*πΉβImam Sadiq (as)* such states,
βWhen Allah loves a servant, he afflicts him with severe trials..
… and illnesses may be one of them …β
It is amazing to know that time lapsed of a Momin in illness and pain is filled with reward and thawaab.
πΉ *The Holy Prophet (sa)* says,
The Almighty God, to the angel assigned to the ill
Momin says,
*Write* for this ill-momin, that what you wrote when he was healthy and safe.
πΉFurthermore,
*Imam Moosa ibn Jafer* (as) such mentions that,
The Holy Prophet (sa) states that an ill has 4β£ rewards…
1β£ Duties are waived from him. All that he is unable to perform, he will not be asked.
2β£ The Almighty commands the assigned angel to record all the good he used to perform whilst he was healthy as a bonus at a time when he is unable to perform.
3β£ The wrong done by the afflicted parts of the body will be removed.
4β£ If in that ailment, he does depart, he dies forgiven and if he survives and lives, he lives forgiven.
